MARGUERITE'S CAFE
Had a GREAT time and PRODUCTIVE day at Marguerite's cafe- Avanti ... what a great space! And, it sounds like more exciting things to come in it! I urge any other cafe-lizard Jedis among us to make that visit to 3714 N Southport ... I even found meter free side street parking around the corner. The start to a prosperous day!
THE LAW WORKS
I listened to and read Side A of Chapter 3 after I got home from last night's class and it is amazing ... The short version - prayer: Denials, Affirmations, and Thanksgiving. So, I cranked out some denials, pulled out a few affirmations, and gave much thanks ... for 4Ts, for all of you Big Time Jedis, the support of Sue and Marguerite and my two prayer partners, Anthony and Brad, Prac Training which is transforming my life on a DAILY basis -- visibly.
Well, manifestation time ...
Part of my revelation was that one of my sisters always says she does not feel connected to the rest of us. It struck me that she never shares about herself and whats going on with her -- just stuff. So, as it goes, the Law only gives what we ask ... tonight, I'm coming out of the health club at 7:05 .. the phone rings and it's (you got it) my sister. The call lasted until I was almost pulling in my parking lot at 7:28 ... for the whole time she told me EXACTLY what was going on about finding and deciding on a place to stay in France when she goes to visit my nephew. I for ALL of the fine details about everything from how many places she looked at online, the owner's story of how he ultimately got to France, and even how many stairs there are to get to the apt. she will stay in! Yes, she was excited and I was glad for her.
I hung up thinking she never asked a thing about me ... not unusual ... so I got what I asked for ... not what I wanted. I guess the Law Works! :) So, refinement of the prayer is in order.
THE LAW REALLY WORKS
At 1:45, I got the urge to leave Avanti Cafe and make an impromptu visit to one of my company's workshop groups that was meeting today at a school. As I'm leaving the school, I'm thinking how I need to get more sessions going to generate more income. I open the door and coming in is a district level administrator in charge of bilingual programs... She tells me who she is and I introduce my company and the workshops we offer for teachers who need to become credentialed to teach ESL and Bilingual students.
She asks if I work with Charter Schools. Why? (Get ready ....)
She got a call TODAY from a Charter School administrator looking for someone to help her teachers complete the professional preparation they need so they can be in compliance with a new requirement that takes effect in Fall! Short version, she gives me the name of the contact for a Charter School network who called her today.
What was different today ... I started with a 30 minute meditation and prayer with a prayer partner early this morning! I turn from form to Spirit!
Again, I say, I'm learning it works if I work it!
To Marguerite --- I'm going to assume "old soul" is a compliment! hehehe
